Wedding songs. First one was performed during a night preceding a wedding, in female groups only, and was a farewell for a bride leaving maidenhood group. Green Rue (herb of grace) was sown by the bride before the marriage, and bridesmaids were braiding a wreath from it. We know this song from Poles coming to Lower Silesia from a rural area near Vilnius. Second one is known from archival recordings, originating in belarussian Polissia. Bride soon to be a hostess, performs it to say farewell to her parental home.
